Recently got some red laces to go with my boots. The Mrs. was kind enough to surprise me with two additional pairs for Christmas. Speaking of which, since it's after midnight, Merry Christmas. I hope all you viewers out there have a safe and good one.

I need not bombard you with yet another set of Concord images, correct? I mean, you've been seeing them for a year now, and in the last 24 hours, all over the news and web. So I'll refrain from posting any actual sneaker images for another week or so.

With that said, let me tell you how much of a bitch it was to get my hands on this pair. I got the III's (two pairs) no problem, but this was on a whole other level of bs. 10 hours was spent, most of it in the cold and rain, and I only ended up with a single pair, even though I wanted two. At the last minute, the stores decided they were only selling one pair per customer. Total bullshit. At the end of the day, I was able to replace my '00 pair, and I guess getting one is better than none at all, considering there was less than 50 available between two stores.

I don't think it comes to anyone as a shock that the lockout is finally over and there's gonna be an NBA season after all; it was just a matter of when. Personally, the lockout was good in the sense that it prolongs rest for my dude kb24. That and the fact the season is only gonna be 66 games is also a plus. Team LA all day, at least until the dude retires.

Been doing some routine checkups and cleaning of some of my older pairs; I think these two are by far amongst my favorite releases. Funny thing is, I very seldom where predominately white sneakers.

Recent Purchase.

Picked up a pair of Red Wings last week (along with a couch and some other random items for our house). I plan on taking some detailed photos some time this week; stay tuned.

Progress.

My Masterpiece. I channeled my inner da Vinci and van Gogh and this is the end result. We have a number of ornate radiators in our home, all of which have multiple, caked on layers of paint. After weeks and hours of (paint) removal, I got one done. If you saw this shit before, you'd understand how much of an accomplishment this is.

Originally bought Part Two if the Deathly Hallows at Walmart, 'til I saw people posting photos of alternate dvd covers on instagram. I had to get this Target exclusive; the cover is dope as hell.
