Murray.

Vintage Murray Bicycle D received from my dad. We think it's from the 40's, but we haven't done enough research to officially confirm that. We've spent the past two weeks getting it back on the road; when we first acquired it, it was a little banged up, with flat tires. It needed a good amount of tlc, and after a few hours of work, it's back in action.

Reason #56 of Why I love Living in the Poconos: Random wildlife. Dude was crossing the street 'round 8:15 this morning. Me, being the nice guy that I am, stopped, took a few shots, then ATTEMPTED to scoot the little fella cross the street. No go. He snapped the stick I was using to move him, twice.

Needless to say, I tried my best then kept it moving, with all digits still in tact.

sidenote: this snapping turtle was about HALF the size of the one D and I saw last year. That one I successfully managed to move to the other side of the road.

True Story.

This actually happened while I was shooting these photos:

Random Lady: What are you doing?

Me: Taking photos.

Random Lady: why?

Me: Um, because I'm a photographer.

Nosey ass....Lady was friendly but all up in my business.
