XII's

Still going through these sneakers and cleaning. Shit is never-ending. Came across my XII's...The Beloved, Sacred XII's. Talk about Nostalgia, man.

X's

Retro X's..Nostalgic..First pair of j's I ever got were X's. I was in jr high, and the only reason I got them was because they were on sale; my mom refused to pay over $100 for any shoe, regardless of what they were. That was the start of a long-lasting love affair. Here is where my obsession came to life.

These were a, "secret" QS release that I don't think too many sb account holders received. Kinda Late posting these but I only recently took the time to photograph them. I'm not too big on taking the generic, "stock-looking" photo(s) so I shot when it felt right to shoot 'em, and I'm now posting because im happy with the results.

After Days of Harassing my local SB shop, I finally got a pair of the "Chirping Birds"/"Telephones"/"Larry Perkins" quickstrike. I was initially told I'd have to wait until the initial drop (march 20th) but used a jedi mind trick on the owner and walked out with a pair. Weird thing though...Nike didnt give them any half sizes so I ended up with an 11. Psh, still got 'em though! I'm actually debating on if I really like them that much. I may sell them, along with the toxic avengers I got today as well. we'll see.

Bronx Zoo

Went to the Bronx Zoo last Wednesday. Wasn't as warm as we had hoped and alot of animals were mia, but D and I had a great time nonetheless. It was free admission AND parking. We spent about two hours there, then went downtown to FCNY (nassau). Bought a pair of vegan lows, then we left the city and had Olive Garden for dinner. Great day.

Shhhhhhhh....

I think Spring is here! The weather this week was great compared to past weeks. High 50's and sunny for consecutive days. Took London to the park for the first time this past Tuesday. She had a great time running around, her and D. Weather is supposed to be even warmer next week, so we have every intention of taking her out again.

Zoom KB V Contest

So, I was googling random stuff, like I noramally do when i'm bored online, and I came across a Nike link saying they were having a competition to design some kobe v's. Turns out the winner gets picked by the mamba himself and some other people. Not only that, but the winning shoe design will actually be worn by kobe during a televised game, and you get to be there! Psh, I was all over that design and this is what I came up with. Naturally, I think my design is the best I've seen on the site.

Along with having Mr. MVP wear your design while you're there at the game, you actually get an autograph pair of v's! I need to win this ish, man.
