Shit's still getting real, man.

This house business is no joke. We've been extremely busy doing nothing but cleaning. Any free time we've had has been dedicated to going to 115 (our house). It's hard work, but I love it; it's definitely the next chapter in being a grown-ass man. Photos of the progress D and I have been making thus far will be posted soon, sometime within the next few days.

sidenote: these jordan prices are getting out of hand; I really wish you fools would take it easy and boycott the brand. You're literally buying right into this nonsense.

New Pickup.

So I picked up the 2011 IE's last monday; I just got around to taking photos of them today. Although slightly different than the '03's, they were close enough of a remake for me to purchase, as well as reasonable priced. Had they been $150, they would've still been on the shelf.

There's a few noticeable changes to this latest installment of retro xi's, but I'm not the type to give reviews. You're gonna buy what you want, regardless of if I say I like it or approve; or at least I'd expect that you would.

Overall, the IE's are dope; highly slept on, but one of the best pair of jordans that have ever dropped. I'm sure I've said that in previous posts.

Many think the IE's shouldn't be called an XI due to the lack of patent leather on the shoe, and because they're lows. Okay, how dumb and ignorant do you sound? The shoe has the same body as any other XI, except a slight difference in certain features, hence the, "IE" (International Exclusive for all you uneducated sneakerheads).

There's such an abundance of incompetent folk out there in the world, it's scary.

Final note: the last photo was of the 2003 release; all others were of the most recent drop.

Another what didn't I wear. It's a damn shame, but some days I'd much rather wear my JB slides than get my sneakers dirty. My X's are pretty dear to my heart though, as they were my very first pair of J's I ever got (the og wht/blk pair).

I need a new pair of slides, but I'll be damned if I drop $45 on another pair. One time I saw a pair on sale for $30 and passed; I'm regretting it now.

Shit just got REAL.

So, it's official now; D and I are homeowners. Had the closing yesterday, got our keys, signed our life away, and now the fun begins.

Motivation.

Had this blasting all last weekend. Dope album, the only Jeezy cd i've ever purchased.

Hogsmead?

One of my favorite houses on this block, where I live. It reminds me of something Out of Harry Potter, this village known as, "Hogsmead" to be exact. Eventually, between D and I, we're gonna photograph all of the unique homes where we live. why? well, because they're simple amazing and worth photographing.

It's a Weekend thing.

To be honest, yard sales aren't just for old people; you'd be surprised at some of the things you find. Most of them have something for everyone, new items as well as old, and are very reasonable (as well as negotiable) with prices. If you ever drive by one, it'd definitely be worth stopping and taking a browse for a few minutes.

Living that life.

Reason # 26 why I love where I live: random creatures.

Old Victorian we found online while looking for homes to purchase a few months back. Really love the colorway; we're considering eventually using the same color scheme for our home.

NYC

Had to pick up an FC (flightclub) check today, so we were in and out of the city. Didn't drop off anything new, but saw the space jam lows in person. They look wack as hell in my opinion, but that's just me.

Sidenote: Certain McDonald's in ny don't sell frappe´s. Uh, what? Kill yourself.

Saylorsburg

We recently went to the most amazing flea market we've ever been to thus far, the Saylorsburg flea market. It was filled with the most wondrous things, antiques, plants, furniture, etc, but all we really cared about was the old stuff though.

It was really overwhelming though, like being in a new city for the first time. We didn't know which way to begin, where to go to next, I barely snapped any photos due to excitement and having my hands full.

We made out very well though, purchasing items that go for double (and more) online and at retail stores. I haven't stopped thinking about the flea market since we've gone; almost everyone had something we wanted. Funny thing is, it was our first time going, but my Mum had known about it and had been telling us to go for years.

D took some amazing photos, which you can find here:

The End.

Tonight at midnight, D and I will be attending the final installment of Harry Potter, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2". I'm pretty excited to see how it all ends.
