Snowy Week!

Got bombarded with snow again this week; Hopefully this is the last of it. These photos are from wednesday.

D and I went for pizza, as always, but before we did, we took a detour to photograph the ducks/geese/whatever else you call these birds. I call 'em all ducks because I have no clue what they all are!

FREE PANCAKE DAY

Tuesday was a Joyous day! well, sort of..It was IHOP's national pancake day celebration. nothing like a free short stack to start your day. D and I mad the trip, a good 30 minutes, to our, "local" IHOP to get our eat on. That was the good part of the day. after hitting up DSW and the mall, we were attempting to make our way back home but it started snowing. It was actually raining the entire day but we were expecting snow as well. on our way back, there were three accidents we saw; needless to say, the day didn't end up as well as it started. we were in traffic forever!

This past week has been filled with snow..FILLED. I took photos as always, and intend to post soon. I'm patiently waiting for it to warm up :|

I almost forgot! I only came out of pocket $5 and change for us both!

CRUSTACEANS

I've got a pair of "hermit"crabs that I received last july for my birthday. I've always had a fascination with them growing up, and always had them as pets. they're great pets in my opinion, live fairly long (usually), and are very low maintenance.

Paul Mooney

Been Slacking again with the posting!

Valentine's day was good to me; D got me, "Black is the new White" by Paul Mooney, and we also went to see him this past sunday (a week after valentine's day) at Caroline's, in NYC

First of all..I LOVE this guy. D does as well. Dude is FUNNY and keeps it beyond real. His book is really good too, and I thank D for getting it for me =)

So..Sunday, we set out to go see Paul: Me, D, and Pat & Jess. Got FREE parking and GREAT seating, we were literally feet away form the stage. Only thing in between us was a few drunk-ass white people. As soon as they sat down, we were like, "Paul is gonna get in their ass"! needless to say, he did; mainly this trashed white chick who was just loud and obnoxious and stayed touching dude's leg. I'm surprised he didn't kick her square in the chin!

Show was funny though, although these people we annoying, but them getting made fun of made it that much better, lmao!

The night was great, and I ended up taking some great photos. D got a pic with Paul, and I got my book autographed!

Life is GREAT.

Oh yeah..don't ask me what Paul was wearing, lol..I couldn't tell you. He came, "Comfy" to say the least :x

Tuesday (Part 1)

Random road trip..Been wanting to find this old mill that I've been to once before when I took a nature & wildlife photography class. Finally found it in Sciota; I knew it was here, but just couldn't recall where. Wasn't the ideal weather for visiting, but at least I know how to get here now.

Took a few photos before D left me from being cold.

Also went to this antique shop prior to hitting up the mill. They had HUGE cactus's/cacti/whatever there. HUGE. D got photos but I didn't feel like bringing in my camera.

Speaking of which..Got my Lens back! ;'( The family is back together.

London

Some of the 1st photos I took for the month. London is getting huge, but I don't notice as much unless I look back at the photos i've taken thus far. I look forward to see how big she ends up getting, but naturally, I don't want her growing too fast!
