Back.

Just got back..I miss the caribbean weather (and food) already. Depression is settling in. FML. Don't be surprised if I tell you D and I are dipping again in the near future.

This duffle bag by the way, is the sexiest piece of travel equipment one can have. you can go to hell with you LV (authentic or from Canal St). Goyard can kick rocks as well.

You know this man! My name should straight up be Mr. Research. When I decided I wanted a real man's bag I hit the Net. The 3 brands I was feelin were Filson, Belstaff, and Killspencer. Check out the Belstaff 554 and 556 bags. I think you'd like that for your camera/laptop needs. The 554 is the bag Will Smith was wearing in I Am Legend. Hard to find, at least out here in the Bay. The 554 is on my Anniversary list. Oh yeah I gots I list. Ha! If you really want something unique, as you would say "sexy". Check out Killspencer.com. Check out the weekender. The dude uses vintage material that has been preserved that was used for military purposes. Clean looking bag. As or the Filson, I miss that bag. I bought it about 1 year ago but I gave it to my pops recently.

lmao..yo, I'm the SAME way. I research to the point that i obsess/stalk an item. When it comes to a couple hundred dollar purchase, you gotta be that way.

I'm up on belstaff, but not that particular bag; gonna look into that right now, especially knowing, "Dr. Robert Neville" rocked that in one of my favorite movies. Same goes for kilspencer; gonna lool into that as well. That description you gave has me damn-near sold already.

I gotta say, good looking for sharing that info though. Much appreciated.

I was mistaken; I have seen both Belstaff models; I actually almost bought one of them when I was in the city back in December. The only place I've seen 'em is at J. Crew; they actually have 'em online too.

Right on man. Yeah I have seen the Belstaff on J. Crew website. But I'm trying to find a J. Crew or any store that actually carries them in store so I can really get a good look at it. FYI apparently the 554's leather straps originally were stitched, and I guess now they come with magnets that people can't stand. Check out the European site Gotlands online they sell the 554 with the stitching. I really want to get a good look at the bag up close in hand. We'll see! Google Aaron Lam and he has pics and good reviews on the bag on his blog and Flikr.

Let me know if had a chance to look at Killspencer and what you think. You can't beat made to order, and it's made in LA. I'm really feeling that right now.

Sorry about the long ass comments. Next time I'll just hit up your email. By the way take some detailed pics of your Filson.

aw. man..that Killspencer weekender is SERIOUS; I'm really feeling that black. They're so clean and simple. I think I'm gonna have to get that ipad case asap though; that thing is calling my name, man.

I'm about to hit up that Gotlands site though, because I had no idea bout the straps. Good luck finding that Belstaff in person; I think the one I saw might've been a return or something because after double checking the J. Crew site, it says they are online/catalog orders only. I wouldn't mind taking another look at it in person myself. Definitely gotta keep an eye out for that thing in-store.

Gonna check this Aaron Lam dude as well to and get back to you bout that.

No worries bout the long messages; email or here, you can hit me up anytime., and as for the Filson, I'm gonna get on that for you this week. Back to my research now! lmao..
