Thatch Houses, Lacock, Potter, and More..

The second part of the Stonehenge tour, was a stop at the village of Lacock, which is located in Wiltshire. This place is amazing; it's as if its appearance hasn't changed a bit. It has a great deal of history, that of which I won't go into detail, aside from the fact that it has been the location of a number of films. Included are, The Wolf man, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone, and Harry Potter and the half-blood prince.

The First six photos are a short way outside of Lacock.

From the first film, "Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone", this is the home of Lily and James Potter. You will see a brief scene of the house when Hagrid recounts the death of Harry's parents to him.

"Welcome to the charming village of Budleigh Babberton".

From, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince", this is the home of the muggles where Harry and Professor Dumbledore converse with Professor Slughorn, and convince him to make a return to Hogwarts as potions professor.

Great tour. If you ever find yorself in Bristol, or Bath for that matter; be sure to go to Stonehenge, as well as Lacock.
